It turns out that the underwriter for some policies claimed bankruptcy which sunk a number of companies into bankruptcy themselves and resulted in thousands holding worthless extended warranties for their cars. WebLoyalty Class Action Lawsuit Settlement Updated and ABC 15 News Clip |
Thursday, 03 September 2009 16:38 |
We updated the WebLoyalty/ Web Marketing Class Action Lawsuit Settlement to account for a NEW close date of 1/11/09. They extended your ability to submit claims via a NEW claim form. You can no longer submit claims online, but, you can email the claim form in (which saves you some paper and postage.) In case you weren't aware WebLoyalty is behind a large number of customer loyalty campaigns for companies like Classmates.com, Fandogo, Priceline, JustFlowers.com, GiftbasketsASAP.com, ValueClick, Kraft Foods and many others. If you joined one of their campaigns and were charged you might be able to participate in this class action lawsuit settlement.
We also have posted Scott's interview which covers the Wal-Born and ColdMD Class Action Lawsuit Settlements. Both settlements are closing soon so submit your claims now! You can check it out in the TCA in the News section. Thanks for coming to Top Class Actions! This and every other update is listed in the Site Updates Section under About Us -> Site Updates. Scott on ABC News and T-Mobile Unlock Code Class Action Lawsuit Settlement |
Sunday, 30 August 2009 12:46 |
A few quick updates. First, you can see me, Scott Hardy, on ABC 15 News tomorrow (Monday) at 6 PM in Phoenix, AZ. I discussed a number of items during the interview with Consumer Action reporter Joe Ducey but the items airing tomorrow center on the Wal-Born and Cold MD class action lawsuit settlements which close for claims in September. The rest of the items we discussed should be airing later in September. I'll let you know once they're going to be on. I'll post the video once it's up on ABC15's website.
Second is that I wanted to briefly mention the T-Mobile Unlock Codes class action lawsuit settlement. This one is an injunctive award meaning there's no claim form. What it allows you to do as a T-Mobile customer (in good standing and one who's with them for at least 60 days) is request an Unlock Code for your phone. That means you can swap out the SIM card for another carrier (AT&T for example) or if you're traveling internationally you can put in a compatible carriers SIM card when you're in their area which can save you hundreds of dollars in roaming fees. What's especially interesting is that this creates the example for other carriers to follow. It's entirely plausible that we'll see the others fall into line over the next year or so which is GREAT for consumers! We'll see! Thanks for coming to Top Class Actions!
