Updated April 3rd, 2009

We've listed another great Class Action Lawsuit Settlement. In the Paxil CR Class Action Lawsuit Settlement you can claim $50 without any hassle, proof of purchase, receipt or prescription if you received at least one broken tablet in your prescription between April 1, 2002 and March 4, 2005. If you had more than five (5) broken tablets you can claim up to fifteen (15) of them for $150 if you get a Doc's note stating you had the prescription. That extra $100 is worth an extra 15 minutes of prep time in our opinion.

We are also working with some great attorneys across the country to help you find representation in Mass Torts. What are Mass Torts? They're typically cases against pharmaceutical manufacturers who have released sub-standard or FDA (Food and Drug Administration) recalled products that thousands or millions of people have used. Unlike class actions the typical individual award isn't a few hundred, or even a few thousand, dollars. They're MUCH higher. These are actually individual cases (which happen to be filed by thousands of people) so you can typically get compensated for your time missed from work, hospital/medical expenses and punitive damages. Right now these attorneys are actively looking to represent clients who have:

  • Kidney Damage from taking the Over the Counter (OTC) colonoscopy preparation medications Fleet PhosphoSoda, EZ-Prep and Accu-prep or the prescription drugs OsmoPrep and Visicol tablets. All contain Sodium Phosphate which has been found to cause kidney damage and all of which have been recalled.
  • Taken Paxil while pregnant (or trying to get pregnant) prior to December 8th, 2005. Paxil was found to double the risk of birth defects, specificially Atrial or Ventricular Septal defects (holes in the walls of the chambers of the heart) and/or Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension (PPH/PPHN.)
