TCA Staff Tidbit: Wow, this one has some potential for every adult consumer out there. It's super easy to sign up, and pretty much everyone qualifies, since most people have (or at one time in the past 10 years had) a credit card, bought a house, bought a car, got a student loan or department store credit card. So, what's in it for YOU? Well, that's easy. At a minimum, six months of free credit monitoring service. The interesting tidbit, is that if the expenses don't get out of control, and a few million is left in the settlement fund, if you sign up for the option we recommend (Six months of credit monitoring and a potential cash payment), you'll get a check in the mail AS WELL as six months of free credit monitoring. You also have the option to claim nine free months of enhanced credit monitoring, but that removes your right to any cash payment so we don't recommend that option.
