Can Ron Teeguarden's Dragon Drops Actually Help the Body?

By John Curran

Ron Teeguarden's Dragon DropsNatural supplements like Ron Teeguarden's Dragon Herbs and Dragon Drops appeal to people for many reasons. One, they have been used in folk medicine in Asia for thousands of years and practitioners swear by them. They are also not filled with toxic chemicals, a key selling point for some. Finally, there is some scientific evidence suggesting possible benefits.

Unfortunately, the majority of the scientific evidence relies on qualitative measures and not large groups of people taking tests. Take ginkgo biloba, a common ingredient in many Dragon Drops formulations for cognitive improvement. Some studies with 20 patients or fewer have found some indications that it improves mental function. However, a larger study analyzing over 1,000 people of all ages found that the critical component had no demonstrable effect.

Ginseng is another example of a Dragon Herb that reportedly improves energy and immune function and reduces stress. Few studies have confirmed that, although it has been studied for years. As with other homeopathic options, the selling points are the reports of great improvements by natural health practitioners using Dragon Herbs and other remedies. The problem is that a person's diet, background and other activities can all have a drastic impact on energy and stress.

Mayo Clinic: Vaginal Mesh Implant Risks High

By John Curran

bladder sling implantThe National Institutes of Health have noted that bladder sling implant failures could have painful consequences for women with stress urinary incontinence for at least the past year. The prestigious Mayo Clinic, one the best-known medical centers in the U.S., noted that vaginal mesh implant failure side effects could be significant all the way back in 2008.

The reason that the timing is so significant is the fact that many women report that they were unaware of the risks when they consulted with a vaginal sling implant lawsuit lawyer before filing a claim against a medical device manufacturer. It is unclear whether or not urologists and surgeons were mentioning these side effects, or if they were buried in the fine print. Either way, this is not a new phenomenon.

Nor are they any less traumatic, no matter the font size. A woman dealing with a bladder sling implant failure may find that she is facing infections, organ punctures or even excessive bleeding. She may be unable to urinate, or still have incontinence issues. Worse, the number of surgeries needed to repair or remove the device after a vaginal sling implant failure are four, on average.
