Details:  The Groupon settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit, entitled In re: Groupon Marketing and Sales Practices Litigation, that alleges Groupon Vouchers contained expiration dates and other restrictions in violation of federal and state law, such as the requirement that they be used in a single transaction.

Class Members of the Groupon class action settlement include anyone who purchased or received a Groupon Voucher between November 1, 2008 and December 1, 2011, and who meet certain other criteria described in the Groupon Settlement Voucher Claim Form available at www.GrouponVoucherSettlement.com.

As a Class Member, you’re entitled to a number of benefits from the Groupon Voucher class action settlement, including:

(1) No Groupon Expirations: For the next three years, the purchase value (the price you paid) for Groupon Vouchers that have not been redeemed or refunded yet will never expire.

(2) Settlement Voucher: If you are a Class Member and submit a timely claim form, you may be entitled to receive a Settlement Voucher that will allow you to redeem unredeemed Groupon Vouchers that have not been refunded and that are past their stated expiration dates, for goods and services at the merchant listed in the voucher, up to the purchase price you paid.

(3) Refund: There are two ways Class Members can receive a cash refund from the $8.5 million Groupon class action settlement: (a) If the merchant identified on the unredeemed Groupon Voucher you’re making a claim for is no longer in business, you may submit a claim form requesting a refund of the purchase price; or (b) If any merchant refuses to redeem a valid Settlement Voucher, you may submit a claim form to the Claims Administrator to receive a refund check for the purchase price you paid for the Groupon Voucher, plus 20% of the promotional value of the Voucher. All requests for refunds must be submitted within 185 days of issuance of the Settlement Voucher.

I responded months ago regarding the lawsuit and being a part for the consumers with groupons in which I was stuck with. I heard nothing back. I just found this websit to inquire. Am I still listed as involved or what? Don’t I have any rights in this to have some type of correspondence of what has gone on. My current address since I’Ve moved in the last six months is 5806 Helmick Ave Ft Worth 76107. Thank you
