TCA Staff Tidbit: Verizon BuildingThis is the latest (and likely last, at least for the time being) ringtones class action lawsuit settlement. If you checked out the other ringtone / mobile content class action settlements on the site you’ll see this one is “ok” for the casual consumer. A flat $10 award, with an easy to submit online claim form is a WIN. In addition, the ability to donate your award in the mobile content / ringtone class action lawsuit settlement helps out some organizations that could really use it. We give kudos to class counsel for matching the donations, up to the first $250,000, so if you can afford to donate your award we would encourage it.

mBlox LogoIdeally we’ll see more attorneys follow the example set by the gang at Kamber Edelson. This is a terrific option for claimants and a very nice gesture on behalf of the attorneys who litigated the case. So, if you can afford it, donate your award. It’s good karma for you and will really help out some organizations who have suffered throughout the recession, just like you! Make sure to submit your claim now!
