Krossland Calling Card Class Action Settlement

By Sarah Pierce

Krossland CommunicationsKrossland Communications has reached a class action lawsuit settlement with consumers who bought pre-paid calling cards distributed by the company between 2004 and 2012. Class Members who file a valid claim can receive a Refund PIN worth up to $16 from the Krossland class action settlement.

The Krossland settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit, entitled Carol Galvan, et al. v. Krossland Communications, Inc., that alleges Krossland distributed or sold pre-paid calling cards without fully disclosing the applicable rates, fees and charges as required by law.

Krossland denies any wrongdoing, but has agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to avoid ongoing litigation.

Class Members of the Krossland calling card settlement include anyone who purchased a pre-paid calling card distributed by Krossland in the United States between August 26, 2004 and May 21, 2012.

Class Members have until December 10, 2012 to file a claim to receive a Refund PIN that can be used to make phone calls to any location in North, Central or South America. The max amount of refund you can receive from the class action settlement is $16, in 50-cent increments, calculated based on 30% of the total face value of the Krossland calling card you submit.

A list of eligible Krossland calling cards can be found at www.KrosslandSettlement.com.
