iRenew Bracelet

The company behind iRenew Bracelets has reached a class action lawsuit settlement over claims it falsely advertised the benefits of the “energy” bracelets, which are supposed to help promote balance, strength and endurance. Consumers who bought iRenew Bracelets between 2009 and 2012 may be able to receive a refund from the iRenew Bracelet class action lawsuit settlement if they file a claim by the October 1, 2012 deadline.

The iRenew Bracelet settlement will resolve two class action lawsuits, entitled Litwin v. iRenew BioEnergy Solutions, LLC and Garton v. Harvest Trading Group, Inc., that allege the Defendants made false and misleading statements on their website and in advertisements for the iRenew Bracelet. The Defendants deny any wrongdoing, but have agreed to establish a class action lawsuit settlement fund to reimburse Class Members in order to resolve the litigation.

Class Members of the iRenew Bracelet settlement include anyone who purchased the iRenew Bracelet in the U.S. for personal use and not for resale between January 1, 2009 and May 24, 2012.

Class Members who submit a valid claim form postmarked by the deadline of October 1, 2012 can receive one of the following benefits from the iRenew Bracelet class action settlement:

Full Reimbursement – Class Members who have a valid receipt, credit card statement or other valid proof of purchase will be entitled to a reimbursement of their purchase of the energy bracelet, including shipping and handling, up to seven bracelets.

$19.95 Cash Refund – Class Members who do not have valid proof of purchase will be entitled to reimbursement of $19.95 per iRenew Bracelet(s) returned, up to a maximum of seven returned bracelets. Class Members who do not have proof of purchase or the iRenew Bracelet can still receive a one-time payment of $19.95 if they submit an affirmation, under penalty of perjury, that such a product was purchased.

FAQ’s at the top include this paragraph:
Q: When will I get PAID?!?!
A: The key word to remember when making a claim on a class action settlement is PATIENCE. Once you make your claim, you still have to wait for the settlement period to end. Once the settlement closes, the judge reviews the case and approves it for payment processing. After that point (typically 3 – 6 months after the settlement closes) all of the claims submitted are formally reviewed by the claims administrator for validity. Once THAT’S done, the payments start going out. The entire process typically takes 1 – 2 years. Often Class Action Lawsuit Settlements are challenged by attorneys looking to change the terms of the settlement agreement or include themselves in it. When they are that delays payment as payments can’t go out until the challenges are resolved. We encourage you to join our mailing list (below) and keep submitting claims.
