Good news for those who missed the deadline to file a claim for the Diamond of California Walnut class action lawsuit settlement: the claims filing deadline has been extended to October 26, 2012. Here’s how to file a claim for the Diamond Walnuts settlement if you haven’t already.

Class Members of the Diamond walnuts class action settlement include consumers who purchased Diamond of California brand walnuts (including, but not limited to, Shelled, Halves, Chopped, Finely Diced, Chips, Nut Toppings, and In-the-Shell Walnuts) in the United States from March 22, 2006 through January 30, 2012.

 

Class Members have until October 26, 2012 to file a claim to receive either $8.25 for every 3-pound bag of walnuts they purchased from Sam’s Club, or $3.25 for any other Diamond of California walnut product purchased. You do not need to submit Proof of Purchase unless you are claiming more than three 3-pound bags of walnuts or more than five bags of any other walnut products.

To receive your cash payment from the Diamond walnuts class action settlement, you must submit a claim form either online at www.WalnutLabelingSettlement.com or to the following address no later than October 26, 2012:
