Sensa Weight Loss Class Action Settlement

Sensa weight lossA federal judge has preliminarily approved a $9 million settlement in the Sensa Weight Loss System class action lawsuit we first told you about in April 2011. If granted final approval, the Sensa class action settlement will provide up to $6 million in refunds to consumers who purchased Sensa prior to August 21, 2012 and who submit a claim form by the deadline of December 13, 2012.

The Sensa weight loss settlement will resolve a false advertising class action lawsuit, entitled Correa v. Sensa Products, LLC, that alleges Sensa tricked consumers into buying its “weight-loss” crystals by using marketing claims not backed by scientific proof. Sensa denies these allegations and contents that its marketing claims are substantiated by three product studies and scientific research regarding neurology and the science of smell and taste, but has agreed to a class action lawsuit settlement to avoid the expense of ongoing litigation.

Class Members of the Sensa class action settlement include all U.S. consumers who purchased Sensa prior to August 21, 2012. If the court grants final approval to the Sensa settlement at the November 7, 2012 Final Fairness Hearing, Class Members who submit a Claim Form will receive a share of the $6 million settlement fund. The amount of money you will receive from the Sensa settlement will depend on, among other things, how many of the 2.6 million Class Members submit a timely and valid Claim Form.

Claim Forms must be submitted online at www.WeightLossSettlement.com or to the Settlement Administrator postmarked no later than December 13, 2012.

My husband and I were both on sensa. All we wanted was the shaker to try. By the time I got done getting everything they said we needed it was almost $400. We went by their rules and in over a month we had gained weight. GRRRR!! Not what we wanted at all.

Both myself and my husband went on Sensa and I can tell you it does not work. After dishing out 400.00 all I ended up with is horrible stomach trouble. My husband also had stomach trouble but not as bad as me. This product is a total rip off.It DOES NOT WORK.

When I used Sensa, It felt like I was on speed, heart racing, dry mouth. I only used it for 2 weeks with minimal results. I ate veggies and did not eat any carbs. I did lose 5 lbs, which I know the lbs came off because of my healthy habits....A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

It is sad when people are trying hard to lose weight the last thing you want to do is blame the weight lose product. The sad truth is, it is the Sensa. After reading some of these comments I now realize that some of the other symptoms I had came from my Sensa usage.I am horrified and thankful that nothing worse happened to me up to and including death Please add my name to the suit.

If you look at the ingredients ... they are ingredients that are in all your normal foods; just formulated to work together to work with your sense of taste and smell to make you feel full faster. I started using Sensa and stopped due to rash on and inside my nose. The rash created lots of discomfort. When the Sensa customer services area contacted me to learn how I was doing with their product I informed them of the rash that caused reddness and severe itching. I told the Sensa Rep that do to that condition I have stopped using their product. They did not ask any further questions and immediately eliminated me from their delivery system. The Sensa folks never got back to me to expedite my condition.

My husband got Sensa for me as I can't do excerises to help lose the weight, I got it 5-5-12, started using it and in just a few days I was so bloated, hard stomach,gas, badly constipated, I got locked bowels, I did not consider it to be from Sensa, some friends (?) said it was probably my age, but it got really bad, I was asked if I was eating anything new, then remembered about Sensa. Before I received notice about this, I had just tweeted " I don't feel right in the pit of my stomach. I just don't feel right! I am a Nurse and I am very concerned about the comments I am seeing on here that everyone is having leg cramps and cramping, anyone haveing these symptoms Please see your doctor. When your potassium leval become low it can cause severe cramping in the legs and body, if levals get too low it can actually throw your heart into a un-healthy rhythm causing a heart attack and maybe even death. Please if you have these symptoms see a doctor and a CMP done, Complete Metabolic Panel! Please Please!!!! Noone should ignore thoses symptoms!

I GAINED WT. got constipated, weak legs, extended stomach. Sensas crystals turned a dingy brownish color, with a smell I didn't like. Had constant had headachs, neurology problems as well.. No wt. loss here still have unused Sensa Sprinkle in cabinet.... Believed this product would help me loss wt . but it did not....what a scam.

I ordered Sense twice, at first I thought well maybe, I was'nt doing the product right, (never lost a pound). So I reodered, this time a full 6 month supply, While I was waiting on my, New order My Stomach cramps, gas, nausea, diarha, went away,( not really paying attention to the symptoms being connected to this product,). I recieved my new order and started it right away excited, to begin to loss weight. But that didn't happen. Five months in I lossed, NO WEIGHT. had stomach cramps and nausea, severe gas and gas pains, and diarha. thats when "I STOPPED TAKING THE PRODUCT". I was so discussed in myself, that I had purchased Sensa and believing in the advertisment , but they made it look so true and believable. My Sincere Prayers go out to everyone that fell into the same belief as myself. I can't believe how they were able to Scam so many. I have been on Sensa for a couple of weeks now and when I received a "Legal Notice" post card I logged on to the websight and after reading all the comments which basically describe my symptoms I decided that I will stop taking this product. First of all, after 2 weeks of careful use, I haven't lost a pound but, in fact, have gained about 5 pounds. I really feel terrible, stomach ache and super shakey. I will send it back and request my money back as they guaranteed. Please add my name to the list as I bought into the hype and ordered 6 months. What a scam.

I was on Sensa i seen no differance in my weight loss!The $ It was so much ! Then they keep billing you and sending out more ! No I sent it back and they gave me a hard time ! Never again . I was dumb to believe this was going to work , They can talk a good talk !! Thank You ..

I was on Sensa for several weeks and I did not see any changes in my body. That's why I decided not to continue using the product. Plus the price was too expensive when you did not see results.

I didn't have results with the original... but they told me I needed the men's version since I smoke. That made it start working for me. I lost 11 pounds in 2 months, and had no side effects. I feel bad for those that didn't get a good Rep. like I did. Sherrette was awesome. I wasn't gonna keep doing something that didn't work, and she told me why the original wasn't working. Without her, I probably would have been upset too.

Mentally and phisically I've been totally distrought . Due to no weight loss at all and severe stomach pain's , convidence in losing weight seems to be totally out the window . It's a shame that these big companies trick senior's as I out of our money , out of our health , and most of all out of our trust . What is this world coming to ?

I went on sensa for 4 days. On the fifth day in the motning I lost my legs. couldnt get out of bed to go to the bathroom. my legs were so rubbery hardly made it to the bathroom. my body exploded with uran and bowl movement. couldn't feel my legs. my husband was rubbing my legs as i was screaming. i cannot walk. he said get up. you are going to walk. i held on to him as he tried to drag me around.little by little i started walking with a cane. my legs were swollen. i called gnc they said theres nothing to cause an allergic reaction in it. the nurse at urgent care said i was allergic to it. it took a few days of drinking lots of water for me to get rid of the sensa. i am still devastated.

I my self did not buy this junk however my dear cousin did she not only did not loss weight and she was told to keep trying it was something to do with her body type and would take longer. In January of this year while using this product she was found in her chair not able to get to the door or call for help. she died 21 days later. I am very sad to think that things are put on the market and sold to people without thought of emotional or physical harm

I used Sensa weight loss product and became very ill. I now have problems with my stomach as well as shortness of breath. I have problems with my legs cramping up, and I did not have these problems until I used this product. and it only depress me more to be lied to. saying it really works.. I also bought the chews too they don't work. and also I too felt very constipated and pains in my stomach..

I bought sensa and lost no weight at all, I was on it for 3 months, not only was I very discouraged , It made me feel depressed because I was swimming 3 times A week, thanking you in advance, also I too felt very constipated and pains in my stomach..

When i used my sensa i did everything it said to do and worked out. but i didnt see no changes to my body and the sensa teasted the same. i dont not work at all and they need to remove it. i was always wanted to eat and i ate rght size of food. i will not buy no more.

after taking senca for a few days my taste buds were gone i couldn,t cook for anybody everthing tasted the same like crap i guess this would be ok if you were cooking for just you.but not a good thing if you do alot of cooking you have know idea what the food your cooking taste like .and i took a few weeks for my taste to come back

I have tried several diets, and none worked. So my husband seen this advertised and ordered it for me, i tried it faithfully for 3 months and nothing happened but i got sever diahrea and ended up dehydrating and my potasuim really dropped, i was to scared to reorder anymore. Once i stopped my my stomache and the potasium level came back to normal. It was a waste of money and cost me more to get my life back on a regular schedule.

I tried this weight loss product and I got the worse stomach ache I have ever had. So I tried it again and wow talk about a stomach ache! Ended up throwing away the whole system cause I ddid not want to give it to anyone because of the stomach distress...just pitched it. I do not know if anyone else had that problem but was a TOTAL waste of money!

i have been on sensa several different times a total of 3 time each time i was thinking maybe i was not doing it right so i would try it again, but it did not work for me! the first time sprinkle on food eat and then i would eat the full plate after about 20min i would be eating again sprinkle again still be hungry! i have given each time 3 months each. i like the fact that all u have to do is sprinkle love that, but whats wrong? even being consistent on the product which i was told u have remember to put it on everything which i did
