Class Members who participated in a class action settlement last year over Gerber Childrenswear products are reporting to www.TopClassActions.com that they’re finally receiving checks in the mail, with payments ranging from $10 to over $200.
The money is from a class action lawsuit settlement over allegations that Gerber Childrenswear LLC sold children’s clothing with chemicals that caused skin irritation. The clothing was sold under the brands Jay Jay Mills and Kitex between 2005 and 2009.
Gerber denied the allegations but agreed to provide a number of benefits to consumers who purchased the clothing, including reimbursement for out-of-pocket costs incurred to treat skin irritation, reimbursement for clothing purchases, replacement garments, and discount vouchers. The type of settlement benefit awarded depended on whether or not the Class Member could provide medical documents or proof of purchase.
The deadline to file a claim was Sept. 16, 2013.
Congratulations to our Top Class Actions readers who submitted a valid claim and got PAID!
