A class action lawsuit has been filed against Kashi Company over allegations that it falsely advertised some of its food products as “all natural.” If you purchased certain Kashi food products on or after Aug. 24, 2007, you may have legal rights and options.
The Kashi all natural class action lawsuit (Astiana, et al. v. Kashi Company) alleges Kashi falsely advertised some of its products as “nothing artificial” or “all natural” even though they contained artificial ingredients. A judge will determine whether these allegations are correct during a trial that is set to begin in February 2014. Kashi denies the allegations.
U.S. District Judge Marilyn L. Huff certified the class action lawsuit on July 30. Class Members include all California residents who purchased Kashi food products labeled “Nothing Artificial” or “All Natural” that contained on or more of the following ingredients: Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Alpha-Tocopherol Acetate and/or Hexane-Processed Soy ingredients. Dozens of Kashi products are eligible under this class action lawsuit including but not limited to:

- GoLean Cereal
- GoLean Shakes
- TLC Bars
- TLC Cookies
