Early Termination Fee dispute. My singular contract has a singular account number, but two lines (family plan). I agreed to, and paid $200 for early cancellation of my contract. They are trying to charge me $200 for EACH LINE on the ONE contract. The paper I have also merely states that a fee "MAY" apply to each line. They are referring me to Page 2 of their monthly bills which states the "ETF of up to $200 per line applies if you terminate service early". My arguement is that they cannot institute new terms of my previously endorsed contract (which does NOT clearly indicate a "per line" ETF!) |
