Another Chantix Depression Lawsuit Filed Against Pfizer

On July 9, 2012, a new plaintiff filed a lawsuit against Chantix drug maker, Pfizer. This Chantix lawsuit was filed by Sallie Lynne Casey in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. According to her lawsuit, Chantix caused severe side effects resulting in depression. Casey joins hundreds of plaintiffs seeking compensation from Pfizer for failing to warn about Chantix side effects.

Details of the Latest Chantix Lawsuit

In this most recent Chantix depression lawsuit, Casey is seeking compensation from Pfizer, claiming that the side effects she experienced were the direct result of using the smoking cessation drug Chantix. She is claiming that after she started taking this prescribed medication in July 2009, she experienced a number of side effects that were psychological in nature. Some of these included the following:

* Aggression
* Anger
* Suicidal thoughts
