Kidney Dialysis Heart Attack Victims File Lawsuits Following GranuFlo/NaturaLyte Recall
By Sarah Pierce
Kidney dialysis patients who experienced adverse side effects such as heart problems and other complications are seeking answers following the recent Fresenius Medical Care Recall of its dialysis treatment products GranuFlo and NaturaLyte. Patients who suffered heart problems, heart attack, cardiopulmonary arrest, cardiac arrest, stroke or other side effects following kidney dialysis treatment may want to contact an experienced dialysis lawsuit attorney to see if they have a case to seek compensation from Fresenius for their injuries.
FDA Warnings & Fresenius Recall Lead to Lawsuits
GranuFlo and NaturaLyte are popular dialysis concentrates used by hundreds of thousands of kidney dialysis and hemodialysis patients across the country. In fact, Fresenius Medical Care (FMC) is the largest dialysis services provider in the world, treating more than a third of all Americans on dialysis at its nearly 3,300 U.S. dialysis clinics.
On June 27, 2012, the FDA issued a recall of GranuFlo and NaturaLyte and launched an investigation into FMC over concerns the company knew as early as 2011 that GranuFlo and NaturaLyte dialysis treatment products had caused 941 deaths at FMC clinics in 2010 alone. Despite receiving hundreds of reports of dialysis patients suffering dangerously low blood pressure, cardiac arrest, heart attack, cardiopulmonary arrest, stroke and even death following kidney dialysis treatment using GranuFlo and/or NaturaLyte, Fresenius concealed this information from consumers, the medical community and federal regulators. It wasn’t until the FDA stepped in that Fresenius was forced to alert the public about the dangerous side effects of GranuFlo and NaturaLyte.
Patients Filing Lawsuits Over Kidney Dialysis Injuries
Hundreds of patients have been seriously injured or died following kidney dialysis treatment after suffering a dialysis heart attack, stroke or other complication from their dialysis treatment. Many patients and their families are unaware that their kidney dialysis heart attack, stroke or other injury was caused by their dialysis treatment, specifically by the products GranuFlo and/or NaturaLyte. If you or a loved one suffered one of the following side effects following hemodialysis treatment, you should speak with a GranuFlo recall attorney right away:
* Heart attack
* Metabolic alkalosis
* Stroke
* Low blood pressure
* Cardiopulmonary arrest
* Cardiac arrhythmia
* Hemodialysis cardiopulmonary arrest
* Other complications following dialysis treatment
Don’t be misled into thinking your or your loved one’s kidney dialysis injury or death was caused by their kidney failure when it may have been caused by a defective product and the negligence of Fresenius. Speak with a kidney dialysis injury lawyer today for a Free Legal Review of your claims.

I take dialysis on M-W-F. I suffered with very low blood pressure in 2013. I would pass out, fall, wobble and walking was very difficult. In June of 2014, I had a heart attack after taking dialysis and having surgery for a dialysis access. Can I file a lawsuit?
My husband was a renal patient and died from a heart attack. How do I know if those products were used on him at the dialysis center?

My Father, BEGAN Dialysis “Treatment” IN MID- NOVEMBER 2012…. (PRIOR TO HIM SURRENDERING TO DIALYSIS “TREATMENT(S) 3, THEN 3-4X A WEEK….) His Kidney functions were (prior to treatment), within the HIGHER KIDNEY FUNCTIONING RANGES BETWEEN BALANCED STAGES PRIOR TO STAGE 1- THEN RANGING ON/OFF BETWEEN STAGES 1 & 2 …But with special ALL NATURAL MEDICINES and SPECIALTY DIETS- HE WAS ACTUALLY REVERSING AND COMBATING STAGES OF Renal Kidney Failure.
Next thing you know, DIALYSIS MADE HIM WEAK , A SHELL OF THE MAN HE ONCE WAS. HE THEN DIED 6.5 MONTHS LATER, June 13, 2012, AGE 65! (NaturaLyte & Granuflo WERE INVOLVED). I MISS MY FATHER, (I have NO parents) I WANT JUSTICE SERVED! Additionally, I want everyone to learn from this disgrace of “Medicine”.
My husband was on dialysis from 1979 – 2008. He died of cardiopulmonary arrest. What I would like to know, when did this Naturalite &/or Granuflo concentrete solution was being us on dialysis patients?
Thank you,
A friends wife died 10/30/2006 after being on kidney dialysis for the past several years. Cause of death was listed as renal failure. Were Naturalite & Granuflo used during that time period? Could my friend have a cause of action? Thank you, C.O. Davis
An information will be helpful he died in 2006.
