Details: The Motorola Mobile Phone Charger Class Action Lawsuit alleges that Motorola  manufactured phones with faulty charging ports which could have led to problems charging your phone or the phone needing to be replaced. This covers a broad number of Motorola mobile/cellular phones, going back to the beginning of 2000. It's highly likely that if you owned a Motorola mobile/cellular phone this decade it may be included in the Motorola Mobile Phone Charger Class Action Lawsuit Settlement. Most of the Motorola mobile phones included in this class action lawsuit settlement would have been purchased between 2000 and 2006. Check out the list of affected Motorola mobile phones on the Settlement Administrator website and click on Exhibit A.

What will determine how you get paid? The details are below:

- Whether you experienced a charging problem that, in good faith, you believe to be related to a defective Charging Port.

- How long you had the Covered Cell Phone when you first experienced the charging problem.

- Whether you contacted Motorola concerning the charging problem.

- If you have documentary proof of ownership of the Covered Cell Phone.

- The amount that you paid to replace your Covered Cell Phone, if you replaced the Covered Cell Phone with another cell phone as a result of the charging problem.

- The amount that you paid to repair your Covered Cell Phone, if you paid someone to repair your Covered Cell Phone as a result of the charging problem.

- The amount that you paid for a replacement charger, if you purchased a new replacement charger for your Covered Cell Phone as a result of the charging problem.

OK, so what's that all mean? If you owned a Motorola mobile/cell phone and had charging problems, and it's included in the list on the Settlement Administrator's website (Exhibit A), you may be able to submit a claim in the Motorola Mobile Phone Charger Class Action Lawsuit Settlement. Make sure to fill out the claim form completely. You will be required to print it out from the Settlement Administrator's website and answer a number of questions. It will help you in the claim process if you can provide some kind of proof of ownership of your Motorola mobile phone. This could be a picture of the box it came in, a page from your cellular service provider's bill, a picture of the phone itself, or serial and MSN numbers. Other types of proof are available. Check out the claim form on the Settlement Administrator website for more information.
